Roxborough State Park

For training, Woody get's the opportunity to run in some pretty spectacular places in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. He usually snaps a few pics on each run and shares the impressive views once he's home. So, I asked him to take us on a family hike to one of those beautiful spots. He chose Roxborough State Park. After fueling with a picnic lunch in the back of the truck, we headed out for our hike. The leaves against the red rock outcroppings were just gorgeous! Although about all our kids can handle now is a 2.2mi hike around an canyon, someday I'll be asking Woody to take us up to the top of one of the peaks he loves to climb!
