Chris came up with the great idea of going to REI and checking out the climbing wall. No one had done it before, so we were all up for the challenge. The rock wall is free for members and is much more difficult than it looks! They had two walls that looked like skyscrapers. Each side was rated from beginner to advanced.
We all took turns and you should have seen those kids climb. No fear! Everyone made it to the top...and back.
I got about half way up before the shaking hands kicked in. Shortly thereafter, the sweaty hands joined the party. Oh how nice it was to reach the top and sit back and relax for the return trip!

What a great idea! Aubrey would love to do this. Another great Summer activity tucked away.
