Great Visit!

We just had a wonderful visit with Grammie & Grampie last week. It was a full few days! On Saturday, we ventured downtown for dinner at Maggiano's before taking a horse & carriage ride around the city. This was the horse & carriage ride we were supposed to take with the girls on our Dad/Daughter Sweetheart night, but was cancelled due to weather.


Our driver was very nice, and "Tiege" the horse did a fine job pulling us around. The driver told us Tiege was 19 years old, works only one day a week, and has a very special relationship with one of the older lady horses at the stable. They have been together most of their lives. When Tiege's sweetie leaves for work, he will not eat until she returns! They are fearful that if one of the horses passes away, the other will go quickly. Boy, did we feel a bond with Tiege after that story!
