Tanya was out of town this weekend at her annual college friends reunion, so the girls and I had some fun dad-daughter time. On Sunday morning, I asked them to go get dressed for church. Megan is quite capable of this, but Zoe had to ask what to wear. I told her to "have Megan pick something out for her." This is what they came down wearing.
My first reaction was to have them change, but I quickly decided to roll with it and enjoy their creations! It didn't matter what I thought (or more accurately what I thought other people would think). No, what mattered is that they both knew they looked great and were ready and excited for church. I complimented them on their choices and off we went. I've never been so proud to walk around with two beautiful (and flashy) girls!
Love it! Glad you didn't make them change.
ReplyDeletethey look perfect, what they lost in church votes they gain in self confidence.
