Night Out!

Night Out!
Last weekend Kristi and I hit the town for the Jeremy Camp concert. It was fun...and funny. The place was pretty packed when we got there, so we decided to sit in the balcony where we could have a good view. The first band was pretty mellow, but things quickly heated up when Chasen took the microphone. We soon felt very old, as we were surrounded by pre-teens bopping all around us. We giggled at ourselves realizing that we couldn't even understand what the band was saying...another sign of old age!

A third band took the stage, which we assumed was Jeremy Camp. They were good, but only played for about 20 minutes. Intermission. Then a fourth band started to play. This band definitely had a more mature sound and we recognized many of the songs but couldn't figure out who they were. About three songs in we finally realized that this was Jeremy Camp. Seriously, who goes to a concert and doesn't know what the band looks like!! Looks like I should have done a little more research. My shortcomings provided much laughter and banter for the rest of the evening. (Posted by Tanya)
