We just got back from a long weekend camping with the Craigs & Roberts in the middle of nowhere. The nearest town (Basalt) was 30 miles away. It was a really fun trip camping with everyone.
We all left to come home on Sunday, but an overturned and leaking semi (tanker) shut down I-70 and we were stranded in Eagle, CO. With the prospect of taking a detour that would have turned a 3 hour drive into an 11 hour one, we all decided to spend the night in Eagle. Good call, as we all got cheap rooms at an "AmericInn" and got rid of the campfire smell in their indoor pool.
The ride back Monday morning was uneventful and we even got lucky with both girls sleeping off the busy weekend!
Some kids are beautiful even when they don't know it. Likw our sweet angel face "Miss Piggy".
