My sweethearts and I had a special night at the Ball on Friday. As you can see, they looked beautiful.
Just like last year, we went with Scott & Kelsey and Girard & Madeline. We all learned a few important lessons from our first Ball. One of them was to be first in line for the horse and carriage ride. If you wait until later in the evening, the line gets very long...and that line is outside in the chilly February air...and that chilly air doesn't mix well with sweethearts in dresses.
After completing a Valentine craft, we ate a snack and finally made it to the dance floor. Once again, Megan didn't really enjoy that part of the night. Zoe on the other hand was a Dancing Queen. She was bopping around the whole time we were out there.
Probably the biggest hit of the evening for the second year in a row was the ice cream sundaes. Zoe and I "shared" a large sundae, although I got distracted talking with Scott...and Zoe ate just about the whole thing herself!
