We'll miss you Jim...

We'll miss you Jim...
This past Sunday, my brother-in-law Jim went to heaven. Learning just five weeks ago that his melanoma had returned and metastasized to his liver, he began his journey toward eternity.

I was with my sister, Chris on Sunday. The whole scene in his room was beautiful. God was present. Jim died in her arms right after I stepped out of the room.

I have been slow to make this post because words are hard to come by when trying to process the whole thing. We are thankful that God has been good in providing immense support to Chris & the girls.

In lieu of my words, here is a site that is a testament to the amazing life he lived and just how he impacted everyone he came in contact with.

  5. I think about him, your sister, and the girls every day. I will always remember Jim, if only for the few times that I was fortunate enough to spend with him. He was full of life, and it is clear he has passed that vitality to his children.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.
