We had the privilege of borrowing my cousin's Nintendo Wii this past weekend! Thanks Scott! We are often behind the times when it comes to some home electronics. I think we were among the last few people on earth to get a DVD player. Most people we know have played the Wii extensively, while we have only partaken in this excellent form of entertainment just once before.
We had a blast with Wii Play, Wii Sports and Guitar Hero. It was fun to watch the girls play too. Megan instantly became addicted to a game where she is riding on a cow trying to knock over scarecrows. Oh man, you should have heard her laugh...especially when she would make the cow jump...by physically jumping herself (look above for an example)! As with most things she does that require concentration, she also has the Michael Jordan "tongue out" thing going.
I've never even seen a wii in person. i must be living in the ice ages!
ReplyDeleteBeing a politically correct human, I don't have any problem with Michael being in the family tree. But in reality that tongue came to Megan via her great Grandmother Heldt - who always had her tongue out when concentrating or like peeling potatoes - a little more subtle than Megan though.

ReplyDeleteId love to get a Wii, but Im kinda at my limit with the Xbox.... We play GH here and Katie sings while Andy immitates the lead guitar.
