Yesterday we got to go to the Broncos game (thanks Scott & Catrina!!). It was the first time the girls had been to a football game. The weather was quite cold and raw all weekend, but fortunately it didn't deteriorate come game time. There was a little misting, but no rain.
The game was great, minus all the Broncos turnovers. Unfortunately they lost. That didn't put a damper on the fun we had. The girls' favorite part was the fireworks & shooting flames of fire that shot off every time the Broncos scored. We were sitting very close to where they shot them off, so it always caused us to jump in our seats!
You may be wondering why there were so many empty seats behind us. This picture was taken 45 minutes before the game started. Thanks to Woody, we got there plenty early!
ReplyDeleteI simply wanted to give our bodies a chance to acclimate to the cold, so it wouldn't be a distraction once the game started! :-)

ReplyDeleteMike and I were at the game last year when they played the Jags. Yesterday we kept saying how glad we were not to be there! I'm glad you all had fun! Love the pic!
