Grandma had a smile that would light up a room, and thankfully she used it often. She was a hard worker and remained busy a lot of the time, serving her community, cleaning, baking cookies, playing cards and of course dancing the polka. As I started looking for a picture to post of her, I came across my wedding album. Let me tell ya, I was not hard pressed to find pictures of her on the dance floor. I have pictures of her dancing with at least six different people! Needless to say, she was a vibrant and fun lady to be around.
Last week, on Thursday, she went home to be with Jesus. I can only imagine she has reunited with my Grandpa and is spending at least some of her days dancing the polka in Heaven. (Posted by Tanya)
What a great way to remember her. I am sorry to hear about your loss though. No matter what a good life they lived, it is always hard to loose loved ones. It's great to know she is in Heaven! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAh Tanto, she was a dancing queen just like you. Sweet post - I'll be praying for you and the family. Grandmas are something special, and it's hard to lose them no matter how they've been around!
