Tanya climbs a 14er! For REAL!!

Unlike Mt. Evans...she did not drive up and hike that last 130 feet.


Oh yes...the day finally came and Tanya has been initiated into the 14er club! She bagged her first on Saturday morning at 8:35am as she reached the summit of Grays Peak!


She persevered through the 3:30am wake up...the 4:10am departure from home...and the 5:40am start at the trailhead. She weathered the initial blow from the altitude during the first 30 minutes and triumphed by standing on "top of the world"!


The only thing that could be better than Tanya climbing a 14er is...
