To celebrate Woody for Father's Day we headed to Mr. Biggs (an inside amusement park type place) for some fun out of the sun. The big ride for Woody was the Grand Prix Raceway, which you will find more out about tomorrow. We also spent a good amount of time in the three-story foam factory. It was filled with little balls that you could shoot from air guns all over the place. It was a great and safe place to peg people!
In keeping with tradition of interviewing our girls on Fathers/Mothers Day, I asked Megan tonight what she liked about Daddy...
Me: Megan, what do you like best about Daddy?
Megan: He makes me smile, and laugh.
Me: What do you like to do with him?
Megan: Go to Mr. Biggs, go to the Nuggets, go on bike rides.
Me: What does Daddy do at work?
Megan: Fixes computers.
Me: What does he do when he is home?
Megan: He gives us hugs and kisses, changes into his play clothes and plays with us.
Me: What are you thankful for about Daddy?
Megan: That he is special.
Me: Why is he special?
Megan: Because I love him.
Me: Why do you love him?
Megan: Because I just do.
Well said Megan. Woody, we think you are the greatest and we are so thankful for you!
Well said indeed. Woody, take that as a great indicator on how well you are doing as a father. No one knows you better than your family. If they speak like this...then you are doing awesome! Way to go dad.
