After hiking with Tanya for several days, I have a new nickname for her. Seabiscuit. Not the typical nickname for a spouse, but it was well earned.
You see...Tanya is not like most hikers. The average hiker begins a hike with lots of energy and excitement. As the hike progresses, that energy starts to fade and the last 1/3 of a hike can be slow going.
Tanya on the otherhand, starts each hike slow. She's generally not too excited about the effort that is going to be required of her. But once she gets going, there is no stopping her. She is an absolute race horse for the second half of a hike. She claims that it's because she wants to hurry up and be done. Man, is it hard to keep up with her!
You guys look like you had the best time! That's so great! I'm loving the pictures. Happy 10th anniversary! Love, Corny Clan
