A few months back, I told you about a special place in New Hampshire called Sculptured Rocks. It's only about 7-8 miles away from where my parents live. It's totally off the beaten path, which I think makes it that much more special...one of those places the "locals" know about.
We took the girls one day and they were able to put their rock-hopping skills to work. This picture is of the area of the river where the rocks are large and steep.
we have an area in wisconsin called the dells. Its similiar - so beautiful - the rocks look like black grante - is it?
