Our neighbors just planted a ton of cute flowers all over their yard, which encouraged me to get some flowers for our pot. This pot has previously been used for dumping the algae that we skimmed off of the pond. Since there's no more pond, I thought it would be nice to make the pot useful. The girls and I made an activity out of it and spent a good amount of time at our local nursery picking out the flowers. It's always relaxing to walk around a nursery, everything is so pretty and calm. At least that was my experience before the girls started arguing over who got to pull the red wagon containing the flowers. I figured that we should make our exit, so we paid and headed to the car. Just as we were getting in, we witnessed a woman being arrested right next to us! It was crazy...there were cops, flashing lights and a road block. Not something you see everyday in our neck of the woods. (posted by Tanya)

ReplyDeleteI am trying to get in the gardening groove too! We just replanted a lot of the backyard and this week the kids and I are doing two pots for the front porch. We are in training for garden camp for both kids in August!
