Last year, any mention of "swim class" produced a very sad and whiny result from Megan. She really didn't like it in the beginning and by the end of her couple months of classes, she was ready to be done. So, as ballet (which she LOVED) ended this season, I was a little weary about telling her that swim class was coming next. I expected more whining and pleading to stay in ballet. Thankfully, I was wrong. To my surprise, she loves it this year! I would almost call her a fish, although fish can keep themselves from sinking to the bottom...and I'm not sure Meg could do that yet. Her favorite thing to do is jump off the edge, and by the looks of this picture, she takes that very seriously! It's been so fun to watch her learn and grow in confidence. Another positive is that Zoe likes to watch too, as opposed to last year when she was unbearably wiggly. (Posted by Tanya)

What a cute picture! More information - she was swimming last year, right? I'm glad she likes it - she told me her teacher was a girl not a woman.
ReplyDeleteOur pool is in the high 80s and Katies cast comes off Thursday! We can't wait to start swimming too!!!
