This weekend we fulfilled our end of the kid swap deal with the Craig's. Our big outing with all four kids was to head to the local bowling alley on Saturday morning. It was hilarious. None of the kiddos had ever bowled before and were all a little tentative to begin with.
Out came the ramp and the whole activity became a little less intimidating. They all had a blast. Megan and David could pick up the ball and put it on the ramp by themselves. Zoe and Addie needed a little help. Once the ball was in place, they mastered the push naturally. With bumpers in place, we tallied two strikes, several spares and one score breaking 100! we used to do bowling excursions when I worked in daycare. There is nothing quite like a little one trying to bowl. I didn't know they had ramps. That's awesome!
