I took this shot on Saturday morning. The snow was all around us, but it didn't seem to accumulate on the lillies. I liked how the beads of water swelled up.
Speaking of swelling...Megan has been getting rashes and hives lately and we haven't been able to pinpoint why. Last Friday, Tanya took her in for the dreaded allergy tests. Believe it or not, Megan was quite excited to go. Come to find out Tanya had provided her the incentive of going to Walmart to pick out a toy after the appointment. It was a 2 hour visit where they poked and scraped at her back. She was amazing. No fear or tears...and she thought it was cool that they wrote on her back with a ballpoint pen.
We are very thankful that everything came back negative. Although, we're still not sure what is causing the reactions she's been having lately. So what did she pick out at the toy store?? A sweet Dora the Explorer scooter. Picture coming someday.
I hope to see this picture on display at the Douglas County fair next year. It is amazing!
ReplyDeleteGo Megan, I'm so impressed at how brave she was! I hope her rashes get better soon.
ReplyDelete(I hereby go on record as feeling that Tanya ought to get a reward too, it's stressful and sad taking your kids to the doctor!)
Katie and Andy had mysterious rashes this last weekend as well... They are fine now, was a 24 hour thing. We have no idea what it was.
