Fun game...weird situation...

Last Thursday, James & I got to see in an amazing game. The Nuggets beat the Lakers by 2 in overtime on a last second shot by Carmelo. James grew up in Visalia, CA and has fond memories of going to Lakers games back in the Magic, Worthy & Kareem days. Since I'm a new, but solid Nuggets fan, I made sure we took care of some business before we left for the Pepsi Center.

The game was great, but it's what happened during the first quarter that was the most memorable part of the night. We were enjoying the game when a lady walked up and handed James a Nuggets goodie bag filled with all kinds of Nuggets paraphernalia. She briefly explained that our section was designated the 'Coors Guys Night Out' section. She said the camera would be zooming in on our section and asked us to go crazy and jump around when it does. A few minutes later a guy walks up with a digital camera and two blond models wearing Coors jackets. He was looking for the recipient of the Nuggets goodie bag. He found James and gave a look of disgust once he saw the enemies logo on his shirt. But, when he realized James was with me, the one proudly wearing the Nuggets sweatshirt...he forced us to stand in the aisle and have our picture taken with the models. Next thing we knew, the man and the models were gone! No chance for us to ask exactly what was going to happen with that picture he took. So if you find a picture of James & I floating around the internet or on some billboard or in a Coors beer ad...just know we claim innocence!
