Happy Birthday Megan!

Although today is Megan's 3rd birthday, the big celebration came the day after Christmas. We had a small party for her at the Northridge Rec Center. She has been in a tumbling class there for the past few months and absolutely loves it. We had a blast watching her and Kelsey, David, Addie, Katie, Andrew, Giana, Cameron, Nica, Aubrey and of course, Zoe go wild in the tumbling room. Somersaults, jumping on the trampoline, and walking the balance beam were all feats accomplished by many with 'Dora the Explorer' music playing in the background. After all the action, we retreated to another room for lunch, cake & presents.

My favorite moment?? During the singing of 'Happy Birthday', Megan had the most beautiful smile plastered on her face. She was so happy and you could just tell how much she enjoyed receiving the attention. With her birthday being at the very end of the year, she has witnessed many birthday parties for friends and family. After each one, she would ask when it was time for her birthday. Our response always included a long list of people who were celebrating their birthday before hers. Finally the moment arrived and the famous song was all for her.

Today is also the day the McLeans come to visit! It's been a fun week with the Jensen's and Walker's visiting as well. Come back to megzo.com next week to see and read about some of our fun escapades while Paul, Karen & the boys are here!
