On Saturday, we ventured downtown to experience the Taste of Colorado. After wandering around Civic Center Park looking at all the food options, we grabbed lunch and listened to some country singer with the first name "Megan". You can guess who thought that was pretty cool.
After lunch, we walked through the carnival area and one particular game caught my attention. It was a dart throwing challenge. If you hit a star, you win your choice of an Angry Birds stuffed animal. Three darts for a couple bucks. First toss - miss. Second toss - Success! Third toss - missed by a hair. I selected a red bird about the size of a frisbee. When the carnival worker saw Megan & Zoe, he called me back and offered two smaller birds instead of the bigger one. That made two girls VERY happy!
