This summer Megan has been taking horseback lessons and she's loving it! I'll be honest, she's not the only one loving it. Nana and I are too. We've got horse-loving in our genes.
Megan has learned a lot about horse maintenance as well as riding. Recently she's begun to post while cantering and I can tell it's quite a rush for her. She get's really serious and tenses up a bit as soon as Twister gears up enough speed to break into a canter. Zoe's favorite pass time is petting the goats and calves. She also keeps the other horses well fed with carrots.
megan is a real trooper, cowgirl trooper that is. she can put her hands on her hips while the horse is trotting and ride bavckwards - after 40 years of riding my greatest movement is holding on to the saddle horn while the horse is walking!
