As I mentioned yesterday, we spent the weekend camping up in the mountains. Nana came up for two nights and stayed in a hotel about two miles away from the campground.
Lake Dillon is the best lake we've found for kayaking. Nana got in on the action too. Megan has really gotten good and thus gained my trust to venture further away on solo outings (top right pic).
This was also the first camping trip where Zoe attempted bobber fishing (bottom left pic). We didn't catch anything, but she kept asking to fish all weekend, so I think she's got the patience for it.
That's a great way to camp, cozy bed, black out shades, and air conditioning. Lake Dillon looks like a beautiful place to camp too.
ReplyDeleteIt was great fun - also having the room gave other "not so tough campers" the opportunity to shower and swim - but the andersons are true blue campers. I loved the baseball games.
