When Nana picked us up from the airport, she had an assortment of leis for us to wear. Zoe really liked them. When she realized we had a plumeria tree outside our condo that drop many flowers each night...she decided to make her own. We bought a needle and thread while Zoe collected as many as she could find on the ground.
She was hard at work after dinner the first night. But the payoff was a beautiful...hand-made lei! It's too bad these things don't last longer than a day.
