Last weekend I ventured out to my friend Kim's house for my annual reunion with some wonderful friends from college. I was extra excited that we were going to California, where the temps were reaching for the 80's. Ahhh, the beach was calling my name.
We spent the weekend doing what we always do...eating all the comfort food we wanted, pretending that we could handle staying up till midnight talking, and of course, shopping. This year we took a trip up to Westmont to see all the new buildings. The place is amazing. As we reminisced about our time there, we started to dream about how great it would be to have our kids all go there!
Now I'm back home, settling into the routine again. Missing the laughs and smiles of those sweet friends, yet thankful for the ones I get to enjoy here.
That looks like so much fun! I am hoping we can start doing semi-annual trips with my girls friends. Once a year is just not enough!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin has been wanting to go to Concordia and after I looked at tuition and fees I had a hard time encouraging her. I'm hoping our girls love Colorado and all it has to offer!
