On Saturday, Tanya and the girls scoped out a sweet picnic spot while I was off on a run. We went back later that morning and hung out for an hour playing in the waterfall & creek. After eating lunch, Zoe started to walk into the shallow pool below the falls. Immediately the creek bed burst into movement. About 50 trout had been hanging out right under our nose and we never saw them.
The girls played for an hour building dams with rocks and doing all sorts of other things. Oh how I wish we could be back there now!
