I took this shot on my final training run once I reached the summit of Mt. Irving Hale. These flowers are called the "Old Man of the Mountain". It makes me a little nostalgic for the "Old Man of the Mountain" that I knew growing up in NH.

My first ultramarathon is on Sunday in Leadville. The Silver Rush 50 miler is on and I'm ready to roll. It's going to be an adventure and I'm sure many unexpected things will happen. I hope I can laugh about them all after the race!
