James & I competed in the Tri the Creek sprint triathlon last Saturday. It was my first and boy are those things tough. I generally am okay with running for hours at a time...but make me swim/bike/run for an hour and a half, and I was spent!
Tanya & the girls made it out just before the start of the swim. They were able to come right down to the beach and wish me well. You should have seen the look on the girls faces when they saw me in a full wetsuit, swim cap, and goggles!
James was incredible. He finished 9th overall and 3rd in his age group.
