...quite literally! Last week we toured the Hammond's Candy Factory. Although I was sad to see that it did not resemble Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory in any way, it was really cool to see the behind the scenes of how they make candy. I was surprised that the machines were quite old, like from the 20's, and they are still in use today. The other very wonderful thing about touring the candy factory were all the free samples! We all had a great time and left with enough sugar to keep our dentist in business for a very long time! (posted by Tanya)
I always throught candy makers were vertically challanged with green pointed shoes - not here.
