Yesterday was a special day at church. All the parents of 1st graders were able to attend Sunday School with them. Then each child was presented with their very own Adventure Bible. Tanya & I had a great time with Megan, particularly during our 20 minutes at "Fun Factory". Ask Megan to tell you about it sometime.
Each kid was called up to the front to receive the Bible. Then the teacher spent some time talking about how it is similar to a road map that can give you guidance and direction. My favorite moment of the day came when one little boy shouted out, "yeah, isn't that like a GPS for your life." Do kids even know what a map is these days!
