Last night we got to sit down with Mrs. B, Megan's 1st grade teacher. It was quite strange for me to be going to a parent-teacher conference. I felt old.
It brought back memories of when my parents would go in for conferences and I'd sit at home praying the teacher wouldn't tell them any of the mischief I had been up to! Sorry Mom & Dad for putting you through that.
Thankfully, Megan has not inherited those genes or behaviors from me. The word from Mrs. B is that she's off to a great start and joy to have in class. Definitely music to a parents ears!
