The other night, Tanya & I were sitting out on the deck. It was dark, the kids were in bed, the warm breeze was blowing, the crickets were chirping, and a big bullfrog was croaking down in the pond. Summer nights are the best.
About a few hours prior to our peaceful rendezvous, the girls had yet another 15 minute session running through the sprinklers in the front yard. When the sprinklers come on at 7:00 pm, they used to run inside to get their bathing suits on. Now when Megan & Zoe see the sprinklers pop out of the grass and start spraying, it's a running, shouting, jumping, and squealing party in whatever they've got on.
If they happen to get cold before the time is up, they just do what Zoe is displaying above and soak in the heat from the sidewalk.
That's awesome! I love doing that...both the sprinklers and the laying on a warm sidewalk. :) Great photo too, love how that turned out.
