Nasty Fire

I went on a run up Mission Canyon one morning while in Santa Barbara. I wanted to see what was left from the wildfire that struck almost 6 weeks ago. It gave me an eery feeling being in what would normally be a lush green canyon with lots of trees and brush. As you can see, it's not that way anymore. It will come back eventually.


It was cool seeing all the signs the residents hung off their houses thanking the firefighters. Less than a 100 homes were lost. If you saw what I saw, you'd think five times that amount should have been burned.
