Yesterday we had a wonderful time celebrating the wonderful dad that Woody is. He got to play golf with his cousins Scott & Rachel and his Uncle David at Arrowhead Golf Club in Roxborough. He said it was the most picturesque course he's ever played. I would agree. The families then joined up with them at the course for a delicious lunch.
As we have become accustomed to doing each year, I asked the kids to answer a few questions about him...
Mom: What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy?
Zoe: I like to tackle him and cuddle with him.
Megan: Play twister with him.
Mom: What does Daddy do for work all day?
Zoe: Gets money for us.
Megan: Works on computers, but I don’t think he likes to work.
Mom: What do you like to do with Daddy when we’re camping?
Zoe: Eat breakfast and find walking sticks while we go on hikes.
Megan: Go on hikes.
Mom: What does daddy like to do for fun?
Zoe: Go out to ice cream.
Megan: Go on bike rides and play with us.
Mom: What part of Daddy’s body do you think is the most handsome? Why?
Zoe: Well,it can’t be his toes…there’s purple on them…eewwww!
Megan: His brain because it makes him talk.
Mom: If you could get Daddy anything for Father's Day, what would it be?
Zoe: A running book.
Megan: A big, big comfy chair.
Mom: Why do you love Daddy?
Zoe: Because he gives us money, and...I just like him.
Megan: Because he is special and he loves me.
Mom: What are you thankful for about Daddy?
Zoe: I don't know, I just like him.
Megan: That he's MY Daddy!
Mom: What do you do that makes Daddy happy?
Zoe: Giving him a foot rub.
Megan: Being nice to my sister.
Mom: What do you do that makes Daddy sad?
Zoe: Not obey him.
Megan: Not being nice to my sister.
Mom: Why is your Daddy the best Daddy in the whole world?
Zoe: Because I like him.
Megan: Because he is really strong and I can see his muscles all the time, whenever I want to.
So there you have it. The girls adore him, and I am so thankful for the way he cares for our family. He certainly is an amazing Dad.
