Valentine's Party

I'm not sure who loves kindergarten more, Megan or me. They have so much fun each day doing crafts and learning in creative ways. The best is when holidays roll around and they have parties. Mommies and sisters are invited, so we get to join in on the fun.


Last Friday they celebrated Valentines Day. They started off with a game of heart bingo, ate cookies and candy, then moved onto a craft. Zoe even got to sit at a table with some other "kindies" and make the craft that would soon hold their treasured valentines.


Once the craft was finished, the room turned to chaos. Twenty-four kids swirled around on a sugar high, delivering valentines to each others tables. I couldn't believe the stash they got. They could barely contain all of it in their newly made craft baskets, so the teacher handed out gallon size bags. Who knew you could get as much candy on on Valentine's Day as you can on Halloween!
