We had our home group over last night and sure enough little Aubri walked up to Tanya with the above in her hand asking, "What's this?"
Oh man, I felt deflated as I had dismantled my puzzle just the day before.
On a more uplifting note, tonight is the Father-Daughter Sweetheart Ball! I'm taking both girls this year. The only thing better than going out with a sweetheart...is going out with two of them!
You already took it apart??? Puzzles are like decorating for holidays. You need to leave it out for a bit to appreciate your hard work.
ReplyDeleteWhen he assembles it in the only table you have for eating, it can't stick around for long!
ReplyDeleteCan you sense a bit of Tanya's disdain for puzzles in her comment?!? Ha! I was really starting to go along with Tirzah's idea that maybe Tanya hid the piece.
ReplyDeleteHave no fear Rachel, when I dismantled the puzzle, I took great care to keep it in large chunks so that putting it together again should only take me about 15 minutes!
dude, I told you, look under the chair!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm SO glad there's a happy ending. And I was just about to ask if you at least dismantled it in large chunks before I read your comment. Well now you'll just HAVE to take a few minutes to throw it all together this weekend and get a picture of it in it's full five hundred and FIFTY piece glory.
