One of my favorite birthday traditions we have as a family is the visit from the "Streamer Fairy". Tanya came up with this idea about three years ago.
Here's how it works. Once the girls fall asleep on the night before their birthday, the streamer fairy comes and decorates their room with streamers. The highlight is always the "carwash" style streamers in their doorway. It's priceless to see the girls reaction when they wake up in the morning.
This year was the first year that Megan caught on to the idea that Mom & Dad just might be behind the Streamer Fairy. It was hard work, but I think we convinced her this one last time. Zoe is a full believer!
