Happy Birthday Zoe!

Zoe turned four on Sunday. Although she was excited to turn four, she decided that she was ready to move on to five without any delay. We informed her that she's going to have to wait just like the rest of us.


It was a mellow day as both girls & I had been recovering from colds. We did have a special breakfast and dinner for Zoe, as well as, a small party with just the four of us. All in all it was a great day celebrating Zoe.


Here's a funny Zoe story. The other day Zoe told us that she and her friend from preschool, Victoria, exchanged "Knock, knock" jokes. Lately, Megan & Zoe have been making up their own, quite goofy ones. I was curious which one Zoe decided to share.


First she told me the joke that Victoria shared with her. It went like this...Knock, knock...who's there....boo...boo who...oh, you don't need to cry.


Then she told me the joke that she provided Victoria in return. Knock, knock...who's there...pencil...pencil who...pencil you glad I'm not your Dad!


Despite Zoe being sincerely proud of her joke, I informed her that she definitely got the better end of the exchange. Poor Victoria must still be scratching her head trying to figure that one out!
