Sand Creek

This is the creek that is right around the corner from our house. I wonder how they came up with the name?


Prior to about 9 months ago, the creek's banks were overgrown and storms had eroded most of what were left. The town came in and replaced the bridge , created a rock waterfall to help slow the water, and cleaned up all the banks.


Ever since then, our girls are lovin' it. They want to go over every night after dinner to hop rocks and mess around with sticks in the sand.
