We've been enjoying a visit this past week with Grammie & Grampie. We've kept quite busy and the girls have had a blast. Zoe prayed for them the other night and said that Grammie is "nice" and Grampie is "silly". Lucy hits the jackpot when they visit. She capitalizes on the withdrawal they experience from being away from their chocolate lab, Java, and she gets the royal treatment.
Fortunately, Mother Nature cooperated and gave them a much needed break from the 100+ inches of snow they've gotten in NH this winter. Our temps were mild and gave them ample opportunity to take Lucy on daily walks outside. Poor Lucy loves it, but we don't keep her in that kind of shape with our plan of one walk every other month. She was exhausted.
On Saturday, we took them on a tour of all the sights downtown. We cruised the 16th street mall and had a yummy lunch at the Corner Bakery Cafe.
Can you believe my Dad had the nerve to wear his Red Sox hat in downtown Denver??
Grrr. Red Sox...Grrrr!
