We got back yesterday from our 10 year anniversary celebratory vacation in Kauai. After great weather all week, we stepped off the plane and into snow. Ugh. I know we're not going to get any sympathy out there, so I'll stop any further complaining.
The week was awesome. A HUGE thanks to Nana for coming out and staying with our girls. When Tanya & I were dropped off at the airport last Saturday, I told the girls I wanted them to cry really hard when we left them. What did we get instead?? Pure laughter and joy to see us leaving. They were very excited for their week with Nana and from the sounds of all their adventures, they didn't miss us one bit.
All this week, I'll be posting some memorable stories from our trip. I'll also be posting at least two pictures per story.
Day one was pretty mellow as we found a short beach/cliff trail by our condo called the Mahaulepu Trail. These cliffs were a little nerve-racking at points, but as you will see this week, our courage and bravery for crazy things only got stronger as the week wore on.
