Kacey and I got the kids together to do our annual Gingerbread House decorating. Every year we are getting better at our plan of attack. Two years ago (our first), we got the kids all excited about it, put the candies out in front of them and then told them they had to wait until we were done putting the house together. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the hang of keeping our house together with the frosting, so they had to wait a LONG time. Last year we skipped the frosting and hot-glue gunned them together. This year we did that again and all the kids including Zoe & Addie could dive in and decorate...much more effective!
That's pretty funny! I was thinking about making a mini house out of graham crackers with Aubrey. Thanks for the hot glue gun trick.
