Independence Pass

At the top of Independence Pass, was a little hiking trail to a vista. It was cold and windy, so our time outside was short.


The vista provided a sweet view of La Plata Peak (big mtn in background). This was the 14er I climbed in July with James, Zac & Jim. It was fun to show the girls the mountain and tell them that Daddy stood on top of it.


After we all sang a rousing rendition of "Standing on top...of the world", we hustled back to the car to head back to camp.
