Aren't we so nice?

Let me start off by saying that you will not find this as funny as Megan & I did on Saturday afternoon!


Here's the history: Our friends Lauren & James moved into a new house last Spring. It's a beautiful house in a great neighborhood and features four mature apple trees and a pear tree. How cool is that to have an orchard in your yard! Not very...as they are finding out this Fall. In CO we measure snow cover by the inches...well the apple cover in certain parts of their yard can also be measured in inches. They actually began paying a neighborhood boy by the bucket to pickup and dispose of the fallen apples. Apples also fall on their driveway only to be run-over by their cars leaving a rotten, fermented smell in the air. Needless to say, they are quite sick of all things apple now.

Now here's where the fun begins: Megan & I were invited over to the Sullivan's for dinner on Saturday night. We thought it only appropriate to bring a thank you gift. As the title of this post asks, "Aren't we so nice?"
