I've marveled at my luck this winter in not getting sick. I wasn't so lucky last winter. Up to this point, I've cruised through the cold and flu season without even a sniffle. I've given the credit for my healthy stretch to my early season flu shot and my consistent running.
Well, my luck finally ran out this week. I got nailed on Monday night and by Thursday I had to stay home from work. This was my first sick day since moving to CO! I think the worst is behind me. With just over two weeks to go before the marathon, this has messed up my training and set me back a bit, but I'm thankful it happened now and not a few days before the race.
Think it was the fluffnutter sandwish's?
ReplyDeleteNever! If anything I should have eaten a few more to bolster my immune system!
ReplyDeleteDo you like the puffy clouds today? Per our clouds conversation, I thought you might...
I love them - we have none! Yours look like the fluff!
ReplyDeleteWell, as I said before...no clouds is probably a good thing. We have them now and the rain that often accompanies them is here too.
