Balancing Act...

Balancing Act...
The end of last week brought a big snow storm which blanketed the Rockies with a fresh foot or so of snow. I'm not usually excited about snow at this time of year, but it just so happened that I had planned a ski day with Jana and Kacey this weekend. I was hoping to get some Spring skiing in before the season is over. We left home and drove up in beautiful weather anticipating an amazing day on the mountain. Unfortunately, we realized that it was snowing on the mountain. It was not only snowing, it was snowing sideways. The wind was blowing fearlessly...but that didn't stop us. We were determined to at least try it out. Although the wind was even worse at the top, it wasn't that cold and the powder made up for it. We had a fabulous time! We skied until the conditions became so bad that there were white outs and we couldn't see the run before us. It was amazing! (Posted by Tanya)
