...Monica Lewinsky became a household name...a little blue pill called Viagra came on the scene...Windows 98 was the latest and greatest computer operating system...Saving Private Ryan was the biggest theater hit...Furby was a toy sensation...El Nino created havoc on the West Coast...and people were tuning in to watch new TV shows called "7th Heaven" and "Touched by an Angel".
Did you know that yesterday we celebrated 9 years of married life? By far the most important event of 1998!
To celebrate, James & Lauren watched the girls so we could head out for dinner. We went to Maggiano's. We ate and ate...and then ate some more. My dinner ended with Creme Brulee. I made a vow many years ago that if a restaurant had Creme Brulee on the menu, I would not leave without partaking.
