So So Picture, Great Story....
My work has a tradition of celebrating staff birthdays each month. We clump all the birthdays for that particular month into one 15 minute celebration featuring song, cards and lots of treats. Each month several people are assigned to be the "lucky bakers" for the party.

The month of February is a little different in that it is one of the only months with just one birthday to celebrate. Our CEO's. As always, there were several lucky bakers and they decided to do something special and setup a chocolate fondue fountain. Doesn't that sound wonderful?? Strawberries, angel food cake, marshmallows were just a few of the dipping options.

One of the lucky bakers was my new IT assistant, Tony. He was tasked with assembling the chocolate fountain.

After a kitchen full of employees joined together in singing Happy Birthday to our CEO who was seated at the table, our fearless leader decided to be the first to partake in the fondue. As he made his approach to the fountain, he stopped about 6 inches away! It seems the spinning auger that runs up the middle of the fountain caused the rest of the fountain to become dislodged and join in the spinning at a rapid rate! This of course sent chocolate spraying everywhere accompanied by shrieks of panic and chaos.

Our CEO, who was wearing a bright white dress shirt....managed to dive out of the way just in time and only got a few splatters of chocolate on his pants. And what about poor Tony? Well, he promptly said his goodbyes informing the rest of the staff that it would probably be his last day on the job. :-)

The best part about the whole experience was the laughter and good spirits that everyone had.
