I know you're probably sick of seeing pictures of the snow. But as many of you know, we were dealt a second dose of it last Thursday into Friday. I didn't realize just how rare getting two storms back to back is here in CO. Here's a quote from our local news station:
"The last time Colorado got smacked with two big snowstorms within about a week, Harry Truman was president, the Cold War had just started, and "It's a Wonderful Life" was in theaters."
So what do you do with the mountains of snow in your yard? Complain...yeah, that's a given. Wait for it to melt...it'll be awhile. Go out and enjoy it...you bet...and by far the best option. We did so by jumping from our deck railing into one mountain...building a snow tunnel through another mountain...and playing king of the hill with yet another.
In honor of this rare occurance, I put together another slideshow of our fun times in round II.
One final note...you know things are bad when you see items like this popping up on Ebay!
-The deck jump looked like a lot of fun! I like the snow slide you made too.
